As an US living in Canada for more than twenty years, I feel Canadians are far more available to interracial dating/marriage than Us citizens. You being the exact opposite, a Canadian living in the claims, have you got the exact same observance? How come this so?

we listen to what you are saying although study does not frequently help the thesis. According to a 2010 Pew research, 8 % folks marriages are interracial, while studies Canada states that about 4 per cent of Canadian marriages tend to be interracial.
Almost all those marriages are with one Asian spouse. The following class most likely to enter into an interracial relationship is Latino. I suspect the concern can be discussing the personal acceptance of monochrome unions there I can merely provide anecdotal evidence from personal experience. (my own personal children are multiracial: African-American-Irish-Canadian.)
In huge american and northern US urban centers, the cultural acceptance of interracial matchmaking feels a comparable as Canada. In smaller communities, outlying locations along with some south states, where in actuality the legacy of historical clashes is sometimes still passed on through family techniques, there seems to be less support.
